Our Mission
When a child dies, at any age, the family suffers intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. The Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family.
This website is designed in Loving Memory of
Randy and Sara - Loving Son and Grand-daughter.

We have purchased our own button making machine for the Lake-Porter County Chapter of TCF.  If you would like a picture button of your child, please bring a 21/2" X 21/2" picture to the Lake County meeting.  If you only attend the Porter County meeting, contact us in advance by email and we can make arrangements to have the machine at your meeting.

The Lake-Porter County Chapter's Memorial Walk is a full day event for the families and friends of our members.  It includes a beautiful butterfly release, with a barbecue and fellowship following the Walk.
As many of you know, "A Celebration of Life...Walk to Remember" is a beautiful memorial even to honor the memory of our precious children, grandchildren, and siblings, who have died too soon.  It is our Chapter's only fundraiser with 100% of the revenue being used to offset the costs of postage and supplies for our Chapter.

We hope that you are able to join us this year as we walk in spirit and loving memory of our children.
All forms needed for this year's Walk to Remember can be found in this month's newsletter.
